VtRaise(VTCL)

VtRaise -- raise specified widget above all others

Syntax

VtRaise widgetName [-dialog]
VtRaiseDialog widgetName

Description

Raises the widget above all others. This works in graphical mode; it is ignored in character mode. VtRaiseDialog- Synonym of VtRaise

Options

-dialog: Destroys the entire dialog in which the widget resides.

Notes

VtRaiseDialog is provided for backward compatibility. Use VtRaise -dialog to accomplish the same task.

Errors

NO_WIDGET: no widget corresponding to widgetName given
NOT_OPTION: option is not valid for this widget
OPTION_COUNT: too many or too few options specified
