VtShow -- display a previously hidden object

Syntax

VtShow widgetName [-dialog]
VtShowDialog widgetName

Description

VtShowDialog- display a previously hidden dialog

VtManage- synonym of VtShow

Manages (displays) a previously hidden object. VtShowDialog works similarly to VtShow, but walks up the widget tree to find the dialog to display.

Options

-dialog: Displays the entire dialog in which the widget resides.

Notes

VtShowDialog is provided for backward compatibility. Use VtShow -dialog to accomplish the same task.

In character mode, the command VtShow CHARM_KEY_HELP will display a help screen describing the most useful character mode key bindings.

Errors

NO_WIDGET: no widget corresponding to widgetName given
NOT_OPTION: option is not valid for this widget
OPTION_COUNT: too many or too few options specified
